Multifaith Network
Multi-Faith STIR of Sherburne County
Because we are stronger together, the STIR Multifaith Network promotes healing, inspires resilience, shares social connections and celebrates the whole person through mind, body and Spirit in Sherburne County.
To be multifaith is to welcome the stories and traditions – religious and cultural – that enrich our understanding of each other. We strive to come to a deeper understanding in answering the question, “How do we help people heal spiritually from trauma?”
Currently we meet via Zoom every 6 weeks or so to share what we have been hearing in our churches and communities and brainstorm about how various issues related to trauma might be addressed. The Core group is made up of representatives from Central Lutheran Church in Elk River, Christ Our Light Catholic Church serving Princeton & Zimmerman, Saron Lutheran in Big Lake, Restoring Lives Church in Zimmerman, Word of Life in Princeton along with the Bridge Outreach of Cambridge and Gateway Church in Elk River.
